Two CAT Scales verified on Love’s own location pages along I-84 in eastern Oregon: Love’s #372 Ontario at Exit 374, right at the Idaho line, and Love’s #569 Baker City at Exit 304. They are about 70 interstate miles apart. Useful for U-Haul and PPM moves between the Treasure Valley and Oregon, RVs and fifth-wheels heading over the Blue Mountains, and horse trailers out of ranch country. Oregon DOT weigh stations and ports of entry on I-84 (including the Ontario-area port near the Idaho line) are for commercial vehicles — not a place to buy a civilian weighmaster ticket for a U-Haul, RV, boat, horse trailer, or PPM load. Any dedicated public scale house in Ontario, Vale, Nyssa or Baker City with an operator page that sells walk-up weighmaster certificates. CAT-scale staffing hours at both stops (only store hours are published). Pilot / Flying J own-page CAT stops in eastern Oregon have not been checked yet, and TA Huntington (I-84 Exit 345) did not list a CAT Scale on TA Petro’s page at our last check.
